Kerry Glann has led the chancel choir at Kent UCC since 2006. He is an Instructor of Music at Kent State University, conducting the Kent State University Women's Chorus, Ars Nova Singers, the Kent Salem Community Choir, and serving as an assistant to the opera program. He also teaches Understanding Music and Music as a World Phonomenon at the Kent State University Salem Campus. Kerry holds a bachelor's degree in music education from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in choral conducting from Kent State University. Prior to coming to Kent, he taught music in the public schools in Ottawa Hills (Canada) and Grove City, Ohio. Since 1998, Kerry has served as musical director and conductor for The Huron Playhouse, a professional summer theatre located in Huron, Ohio where he has led performances of numerous musical theatre and operetta productions.
