In addition to our Christian education programs for young people, Kent UCC has a rich tradition of ministry with youth emphasizing fellowship, service and Christian formation. Youth ministries are organized by the Rev. Jason Bricker-Thompson in cooperation with a youth ministry advisory group, and other parents and church leaders connected to the various youth groups, including: Middle School Fellowship, Confirmation, United Youth Fellowship (UYF) for high school students, and a College Ministry.
At 5:30 p.m. on the third Sunday of every month (beginning September 19, 2010) young people organize and lead a worship service in our chapel, immediately followed by a communal meal.
