Scouting is considered an important ministry of our church; we recognize that the motivating force in Scouting is a spiritual one. Scouts are encouraged to be reverent in their own faith tradition and respectful of the beliefs of others. Because of our commitment to outreach, mission, and servant leadership, we are proud to be the home-base for four Scout units who share these core values. Troop 253 has made its home the Kent UCC for the past 103 years, making it the oldest troop in the great state of Ohio.

The Girl Scout troops that meet at our church are:

GSNEO #90236, #90047, #91308, #90611, and #90855
